Unit math before you compare
One supplier quotes 2,000 cartons, another 30,000 sticks, a third 500 kg. At 30 sticks per carton, 2,000 cartons is 60,000 sticks. At 5 g each, 60,000 sticks is 300 kg of powder before waste. Turn every minimum into sticks per flavor, cartons per flavor and kilograms, then rank.

Peakfinity Labs
Top pick for an ecommerce launch-to-scale program
Why it is our top pick: Peakfinity puts formulation, powder filling, stick packs, other dosage formats and packaging under one owned production operation, with a US team in Exton, Pennsylvania handling the account. A brand can open with a small catalog order, move to a private label or custom stick pack, and add capsules or tubs later without rebuilding its supplier base.
Company states it owns a 350,000 sq ft cGMP, FDA-registered facility and has operated since 1980. FDA registration is a listing, not FDA approval of any product.
Company-stated capacity is 1.2M+ units per day across all operations, with about six lines per dosage format. That figure is not dedicated stick pack capacity or reserved space for your order.
Owner-listed credentials: cGMP, FDA Registered, Halal, ISO 17025, NSF, ISO 9001, USDA Organic and Kosher. ISO 17025 covers laboratory competence, not product certification. Ask which certificates apply to your SKU.
Ready-to-ship catalog items carry no minimum, subject to SKU availability. That route does not cover custom stick formulas, relabeling, printed film or cartoning.
Its powder service page lists a 3 to 15 g stick fill working range on foil laminate. Treat that as a published range that depends on line and format.
Its blog post 'Stick Pack vs Tub: Choosing a Single-Serve Powder Format' (peakfinitylabs.com/blog/stick-pack-vs-tub-packaging) states the stick minimum as 2,000 finished retail cartons, commonly 14, 20 or 30 sticks each. At 30 sticks, that is 60,000 sticks for one flavor. That is arithmetic, not a new quote.
Timing: the powder page FAQ cites 2,000 units per SKU and 4 to 6 weeks after formula, label and pack approval. Rush runs of 2 to 3 weeks apply where accepted. Custom formulation takes 4 to 8 weeks as a development phase before production.
Credit-approved buyers can get Net 30 up to Net 60 terms. The company also states 24/7 phone support and cites Reclaime and Fleava as operating examples; we did not review their volumes or results.
Confirm before ordering: The powder page hero mentions 14 to 21 days and a 5K badge, which differ from the FAQ and blog. Get the carton count, sticks per carton, per-flavor minimum and the approval-to-ship clock in one written quote. Peakfinity is not always the lowest individual-stick count on this list.
Why it made the list: Its stock formulation page states stick packs start at 30,000, which gives buyers a stated stick-unit number to compare, plus made-to-order stock and custom paths.
Page lists 400+ stock formulas. These are made to order, not prefilled warehouse inventory.
Page cites white label from 500 and custom from 2,500 for its general programs; the FAQ mentions branding from 1,000. Those figures are not stick pack minimums.
First stock orders are quoted at 6 to 8 weeks after sample approval. The 4-week figure applies to 30,000+ repeat or stock orders.
Confirm before ordering: Ask whether 30,000 means individual sticks per flavor or a total, how many sticks go in each carton, and the first-run stick lead time. Generic stock timing is not a stick pack quote.
Why it made the list: Its FAQ publishes a 100,000 stick pack option for custom powders, a useful upper benchmark when you compare stick minimums.
Custom powder minimums are listed as alternatives: 2,500 bottles per flavor, 100,000 stick packs, or 500 kg. They are separate choices, not combined requirements or equal unit counts.
New customers are quoted 8 to 10 weeks after label receipt; reorders 6 to 8 weeks.
Stick dimensions, film barrier and fill tolerance were not published on the pages we read.
Confirm before ordering: Ask whether film printing, cartoning and testing sit inside the 8 to 10 week clock, and request stick width, film spec and weight tolerance in writing.
Why it made the list: Its site pairs in-house R&D and pilot or small-batch support with powder, stick pack and sachet filling, retail cartons and case packing at a Southern Utah campus.
Offers ready-to-brand and custom formulas.
States a finished certificate of analysis per lot.
No numeric stick pack minimum or lead time was published on the pages we read.
Confirm before ordering: Ask what pilot batch size it runs, whether pilot sticks come off the production line, and the stick minimum per flavor once you scale.
Why it made the list: It lists stick packs and single-dose packaging next to custom powder flavoring, label and package design, folding cartons, display boxes, testing and fulfillment.
A separate 500-unit stock formula offer exists. It does not show a 500 stick pack minimum.
No numeric stick pack minimum or stick lead time was published on the pages we read.
Confirm before ordering: Ask for the stick minimum by flavor, the display box minimum, and who owns the artwork files and printed film left after the run.
A published fill-range and retail-box starting brief
Why it made the list: Its stick section lists 5 to 15 g servings and 30 to 45 pack boxes, so you can check dose and box fit before you ask for a quote.
Generic ready-to-brand program: 500 units in 4 to 6 weeks. That is not evidence of a stick minimum.
Custom timing reads 8 to 12 weeks in one section and 6 to 12 weeks in the FAQ.
Company states third-party batch testing for potency, purity, heavy metals and microbes with COAs.
Confirm before ordering: Ask for the actual stick minimum, which test methods and labs back the COAs, and when the custom clock starts.
Field notes for custom stick pack and sachet projects
These notes turn common failure points into questions. Bring them to every supplier call.
Stick or sachet
A slim stick suits one dense serving that pours into a bottle. Light, bulky powders need a wider sachet or a smaller dose. Decide servings per carton early: 14, 20 and 30 counts each change carton size, film use and total sticks.
Powder by category
Electrolytes: salts pull in moisture and chloride tastes bitter. Ask about seal strength and film barrier for humid storage.
Greens: density varies by lot and fine particles can grit the seal. Ask how they manage flavor and seal contamination.
Creatine: confirm the dose fits the stick and how it disperses. Do not promise it dissolves fully in cold water.
Collagen: low bulk density means a large volume per serving, often a sachet. Check source and allergen paperwork.
Flow and fill
Poor flow, segregation, humidity, static and hopper bridging all cause short fills. The mass a stick holds depends on density, so a 5 g fill of one blend may overflow with another. Any flow aid or granulation must match the label and leave the dose unchanged.
Weight is not potency
Fill-weight checks and blend uniformity answer different questions. Agree a weight tolerance per SKU, ask how scales are calibrated and how rejects are removed, and request assays on samples from the start, middle and end of the run. No one tolerance fits every formula.
Film and foil
Compare foil, metallized and mono-material laminates with real WVTR and OTR figures and the test conditions behind them. Ask about seal layer fit with your powder, pinhole and seal tests, tear notch and lot code placement. Base shelf life on your stability data, not a blanket claim. Treat recyclability claims with care.
What the quote must show
Printed film minimums, print plates or digital print, carton counts, lot traceability, case packs and who owns leftover film. State the minimum in sticks, cartons, kilograms and flavors. The lead-time clock should name samples, ingredient purchase, film and art approval, line time and release COA.
Testing to request
Identity, potency, microbes, heavy metals and allergens. Where it fits, water activity or moisture, plus stability in the final sealed stick. No supplement is FDA approved, so drop any quote that says so.
Build a stick-pack quote brief
Default plan: 2,000 cartons per flavor, 30 sticks per carton, 1 flavor, 5 g per stick, which gives 60,000 sticks and 300 kg of powder. Change the fields to match your plan, then copy or print the brief.
Your brief
60,000 sticks and 300 kg per flavor. 60,000 sticks and 300 kg in total.

Private label and custom stick pack FAQ
What is the MOQ for private label stick packs?
Published figures on this list range from 30,000 sticks (F.A.M.E.) to 100,000 sticks (SMP Nutra), and Peakfinity states 2,000 finished retail cartons. Those units differ. Convert every offer to individual sticks per flavor, cartons per flavor and kilograms of powder before you compare, then confirm whether printed film carries its own minimum.
Can a custom stick pack manufacturer use my formula?
Most custom manufacturers will review your formula, but expect changes. Stick fillers need powder that flows and does not cake, so the plant may suggest a flow aid, granulation or a different serving size. Any added ingredient must appear on the label and must not shift the dose of your actives. Ask for the revised formula sheet in writing.
How do stick packs and sachets differ?
A stick is a slim tube, usually one serving, that pours into a bottle neck. A sachet is wider and flatter, so it holds bulkier powders such as collagen or greens with less overfilling. Sachets often cost more film per serving. Choose by the volume of one dose, not only its weight.
Does fill-weight accuracy prove potency?
No. A checkweigher confirms the stick holds the right mass of blend. It cannot show the active is spread evenly through that blend. Ask for blend uniformity data and content assays on sticks pulled from the start, middle and end of the run.
Can white label powder become a stick pack?
Sometimes. A stock powder sold in tubs may not flow well enough for a stick line, and its serving may not fit the stick width. Ask whether the white label formula has run on sticks before, the fill weight they used, and the stick minimum for that SKU.
What starts the production lead-time clock?
Each supplier starts it at a different point: sample approval, label receipt, or final approval of formula, label and packaging. Ingredient buying, printed film, line booking and release testing can all sit outside it. Ask which event starts the clock and which event ends it, such as release COA or shipment.
Methodology
The Guide editorial desk reviewed each manufacturer's public website on November 8, 2026. We compared launch route, published minimum and its unit, formulation, filling and testing support, packaging services, and the handoff from first order to scale. We did not visit factories or audit certificate registries, and company statements are not independent verification. Numbered order reflects editorial fit, not a score. Read more on the About page.
